Hello,
We will be moving to Mauritius soon and I'd like information on maternity care over there.

What would you say are the best private hospitals for delivery? Are doctors affiliated with specific hospitals? Also, are there any private midwives that work on the island? Any help would be appreciated.

Welkin, Darné, Bon Pasteur are well known private hospitals. Yes gyns are usually affiliated to specific hospitals. And yes, there are private midwives as well

We are looking at either Grand Baie or Tamarin area.

Do you know how I might reach out and find the private midwives? My Google search doesn't seem to come up with many results.
