Hello Everyone,

I have recently got my residence work permit approved. I will be getting married in January. I will be starting my job in March. In that span I would like to apply for my spouse  permit in January. I have a query about documentation.

1) Does she have to submit original contract of employment or copies of contract to the VFS?

Thanks!

Regards,
Rahul

Hi,  You can go to udi website under family unification residencey application.
https://www.udi.no/en/want-to-apply/family-immigration/

Once you fill in the fields, the site will indicate a checklist of documents.  You should provide the documents listed in the checklist.

I am not sure if you are submitting your documents in Oslo.  When I submitted mine in Oslo, I brought along my originals but submitted the copies.  The officers in UDI or Police, actually check my copies against the originals and signed on them to verify the copies are certified copies.

I am not sure if it is the same in other places.
