MMR Vaccines

Just booked my sons first MMR for Singapore as Batam continues to have no supplies, according to CHI HEALTH in Singapore they is a globule shortage due to epidemics in various locations, especially Asia
What is widely available is MMRv same as MMR but with chicken pox added and 1 injection and a booster 6-10 weeks later

It looks like the MMR is is taking a back seat as NHS direct in the UK have said many developed countries are replacing MMR with MMRv although the UK has no plans for this yet it does however encourage the chicken pox vaccine separately

As long as your son is vaccinated that all that matters. I am sure my son was done a few years ago (he is 5) now and he will continue to join his schools program of injections through the year.

Yes your right, but just my personal choice is keeping to the UK or Australia vaccine schedule, no DPTa available here either
