Hi folks, I am Shaahin, an Iranian in Spain. I have recently got my PhD, and currently work as data scientist here in Barcelona. However, I am very interested to come to Turkey and find a position as data analyst/scientist.

Having read several websites related to working visa of Turkey, I still cannot fathom it, so here I am to kindly request you to enlighten me.

As an Iranian, I can travel and stay in Turkey for 3months. Initially, I had plan to come there and search for job, but I have just read that it is legally not possible to do so. Is it correct? I can't sign a work contract while I am there with visiting visa? Any solution?

Many thanks in advance.

I think you can come to turkey first for looking a job. If you can find a job they can give your work permit. I think it will be easy for you if you can speak both of Turkish and English and others languages as well.

Thanks. I had this plan till seeing some contradictory posts on seemingly advocacy websites. I speak English and Spanish, and data science jobs are in international companies usually. Moreover, I have a look at universities for teaching, supported by +3 years of academic teaching experience.
