We just read that the new rates for permanent residency are $2350.00 month.... temporary residency was about $1500 month..
That's really high...
My husband saw an article that said $3000..

Hi,
According to our Mexican Consulate in Denver, the income requirements for temporary visa is $1500 plus $500 per dependent, so for a couple it would be $2000.00. Or, if you can show that you have liquid assets of $25,000 in a bank account or investment account for the past 12 months, the income requirement is waived. For a permanent resident visa, the income requirement is $2500 per person plus $500 per dependent, $3000 for a couple or assets of over $85,000 in bank or investment accounts for the past 12 months. Hope this helps, if you go to your local Consulate they can confirm this, as well.
Saludos and Buenos Suerte!

Each console is a bit different, so check your console, or use a different one. They are not completely different , but can be different enough. What it says on line is just a very general idea. Go to the source, your counsel.
