Hi
I'm Anne from the Philippines, I'm just wondering if you can give me some ideas what do i need to prepare to get a fiance visa for Netherlands, and the things my boyfriend living there needs to do as well.. We've been together for four years now,and we're planning to live together.. So any advices will be appreciated.. Thanks much!!!!

Hi Anne and welcome to the Forum. :)

As far as I'm aware, there is no such thing as a "fiance visa" in the Netherlands.  If your intention is to come to Holland to live prior to formalising your relationship with your boyfriend, then you'll need to apply in your own right; so will need to apply for a working visa.  This Dutch Government website (IND) explains the process; this link will take you there.

If you have any further specific questions, please come back to us.

Hope this helps.

My  friend is not also married to a dutch guy.  They applied for mvv after she passed the exam in manila.  The requiremet papers are her birth certificate and CENOMAR both with a red ribbon and also the  paper with her signature. For now she's waiting the approval.

We were classmates in cebu for a 45 hrs dutch course in an affordable amount and a helpful and friendly dutch teacher .

We passed the exam in 1 take.

Hello anne, go to this site https://ind.nl/en/Pages/forms-and-broch … brochures.  And download the application form. It is better for your hubby to apply for you in Netherlands because if you're going to apply in the Philippines it will be longer. Btw, you also need to take the mvv exam. It's easy believe me. You can study it with your own for a month. I have some links if you want. I already posted it in some forum. Go to this link if you want to know more about mvv. :)https://www.netherlandsandyou.nl/travel … hilippines

I attended 60 hrs dutch course in cebu. i found it helpful. The  teacher is  dutch and friendly. and the fee is affordable.

Now im waiting for mvv visa but will go back to cebu next month for a2 level before going to nl.

Where are you in Netherlands? How long did you get your mvv visa?

I studied by myself and i passed it with flying colors. I dont know if you call it studying because most of the time i was jus sleeping. Haha. Before i was so scared of the exam thinking it was difficult. But it might be if you really didnt search for exam reviews like what naarnederlands is giving for free. I got my mvv approval after a month. :)

Good day Miss Jhanice and Miss Krissa. I would like to ask whether you yourself filed for the MVV application, or your sponsor.

I read on the internet that your spouse or workplace can be your sponsor... But I'm not married yet, is it okay for my boyfriend/fiance to be my sponsor?

Thank you for all your information and response..

Jhanice36

Hello, I am not married with my boyfriend when he applied the mvv for me. It's better for your boyfriend to apply the mvv for you in Netherlands than you apply it yourself here in the Philippines. It's faster there than here. Hope I answered your queries. :)

Hi... Can i ask for the links you have mentioned? I want to review for my mvv exam :)thank you....

May I have the links? Do you guys think the length of my relationship with my bf will affect the application? I’m with him for almost 2 yrs. Been in NL twice and he went here just a week ago. We’ve met each other families and wants to get married. Would that be sufficient?

Cynic

Hi and welcome to the Forum.

I've just checked them and all the links are in the respective individual posts, you can spot them because they are a different colour to the standard Forum texts and as you mouse over them, normally the link appears under your mouse pointer.

Hope this helps.
