Italy student visa refused. Reapplication?

Anyone here who applied for a student visa but refused? Did you try again? I'd like to know the success rates. I have more concrete evidence that I have a good reason to leave Italy but I'd like to know first.

my intention to leave the states couldnt be ascertained. partly because i dont have my family in bangladesh and i dont have any family ties in bangladesh.

But you said you applied for a study visa? Have you already paid the tuition at the place of study...? I mean, you can't just apply for a study visa without a university to go to...

It was a student visa and it was a PhD funded fellowship from UNiversity of of Rome--three years doctorate.
