Seasonal Work/Skilled Worker VISA Australian to Norway

Hey Guys,

I am after some help if anyone has a fine tuned understanding of the Norwegian Visa System.
I am an Aussie who is on Holidays in the UK at the moment. I may potentially have the oppourtunity to work as a Northern Lights Tour Guide in Northern Norway. My dilemma is that I do not want to return to Australia to submitt my Visa and Permanent Residence application.

I understand from the UDI website that you can submit your Working Holiday Visa Application from within norway, however you must be a skilled worker. I am a professional Civil Engineer also, and i believe this is considered ot be so. Can I travel to Norway as a tourist from Australia, submit and application for a Working Holiday Visa on the basis i am a Skilled Worker?

Hopefully someone has been in a similar situation.

Thanks heaps!

Joe

Hi its only possible if the job you are undertaking is in your field of  expertise and skill

So  if you are a surgeon but was offered work as a care assistant  then applying on basis of you skill no longer qualifies

So if you were to get a job as .....professional Civil Engineer ...then you can do everything from here

But becsuse you are working in a field way below you skills and expertise ....you will have to travel back and do everything from Australia

However pls do your research as things change every year ....
