Hello all! My husband and I are considering moving to Mexico from the USA. I am from here and my husband is from Morelia, but has been living in the USA since he was 18, over 15 years. We both love the old colonial towns/ cities and that's very desirable for us both. San Miguel, Patzcuaro, and Morelia are high on the list for us, but we both want to be apart of a strong expat community. We want to be social and active and want a group that enjoys getting together on a weekly or monthly biases. We would love your feedback to help decide what's a better fit for us ☺ Thanks so much!

Oaxaca and Merida have large expat communities And great colonial architecture.

Hi, my husband and I live in Morelia. I think you will find the community here and in Patxcuaro are very supportive. Their is a monthly cocktail party in both communities that will give you an opportunity to meet people from each area. I suggest you join Michoacan net and ask your questions there. Good luck Dj
