Hi, any advice would be great. Just working through visa application and my Australian police clearance has come back with a $250 fine for driving outside of my learners permit 8 years ago. Is this going to be an issue from peoples experience at the consulate when processing my visa application?

No, it isn't gonna be.
Thanks goodness Saudi Arabian police clearance report doesn't have a section for traffic violations. Everyone of us here would have a list making us serial criminals 
Standards here are different mate.
