Not the best times within the oil industry due to the very low oil price, especially because it is very costly to extract oil in the Northsea as the oil is deep down.

Due to the papers, our biggest company, Danish Underground Consortium, plans to close down one of its platforms, The Tyra field as it is old and is in need of repairs.

At this time, the company and the state are negotiating the conditions for future oil production. The outcome will be crucial for the field. Either it will be repaired, or it will be closed.
