American TV in Egypt? SlingBox?

Would i just need a 220>110V transformer and then i can just hook up an cable from the Egyptian Cable box?

Does anyone use Slingbox.. It transmits TV from a slingbox in your home country though the internet to another sling box in Egypt.

I advice you take it for radio shack here in Egypt and ask them about the appropriate adapter or transmitter for it and that would get it on, but as far as i know about sling box it have to be connected to the internet not 'hook up an cable from the Egyptian Cable box'.

in Egypt are no cable boxes, everyone who wants more than Egyptian television uses a satellite dish.

What is the minimal connection speed for the slingbox?
