The need for degree translation/ apostille

Hi there!

I am looking to move to beautiful Medellin in January of 2016, to get work as an ESL teacher for an indefinite timeframe. I was wondering if it was essential to get my degrees and certificates that I have stated on my CV translated into Spanish?
I have an Education/Arts degree from an Adelaide university, a cert. IV in TESOL, and a couple of other degrees/certificates that have no real relevance to a teaching job. Could I get away with just bringing originals and/or copies? Do I need them certified for authenticity in the form of an apostille? Or, since I'll be applying at English schools once I'm there, will it be redundant to translate them?

Also, is it relatively simple to do these things in Medellin if need be? Or should I definitely get them done in Australia before I leave? 

Thank you in advance, I know it's a bit of a multi-themed question, but I don't want to spend big money on something I don't particularly need.
