DR Beef

Your statements on DR beef are interesting. I guess I have lived in the states to long, so this might sound like a really dumb question. Can they not vaccinate against this parasite? And here in Texas we can plant grass that supports the bovine quite well and the soil in my area is not very good. Bahia grass was developed here because it does well in the heat with little water. Couldn't a person fence of a few acres, vaccinate some calves, plant good grass, and raise your own beef?

An individual most likely could do that. But a large "beef" company ...no way.  There would not be much of a market for exporting beef that would rival the quality of other countries.

Both are terrible. The US beef  is full of antibiotics,   hormones, and so on
