Hi everyone,
I am an engineer working in KL. I got married to a doctor from Pakistan two years ago. She has been looking for a job ever since but no luck.
Any ideas as to where she shall apply? Would it be difficult getting a work permit for her or is it possible for her to work on dependent pass?

Hi she can't be a doctor - what she can do is lecture. Then work as a salaried doctor once she has the connections to get a job/permit.

From my own experience I believe she will have great difficulty in getting a job you can get the details from Putrajaya office.
She will have to work first in the government sector and adjust to where they post her as that is a basic requirement to fulfill the demands of the fact the degree is from abroad

she will have to sit for relevant medical exam papers required by Malaysia Before she can seek employment. Her visa can be a major issue too. Unless she is already a consultant specialist with years of experience, otherwise her application will not be looked by employers at all. I suggest she change career to nursing. In Philippines many doctors went to uni Again to become nurses for sake of leaving their country and get a job in abroad like uk and aus.
