Hi MO86, the family immigration case is IR as a fiance or spouse?

MO86

Hi Gatindi,,as a spouse,,family application submitted in April this year

Hi :-) wish you all the best...good thing applying as a spouse  takes a shorter time than fiance permit, 6 months tops I hear. You are definitely qualified to apply for a D visa as you are already married.

MO86

thank you,,have you heard someone with a similar case before

Hi MO86 :-)

Yes, I have and it took 6 months. Have you heard any response yet? Am still waiting for my permit.

I read in one of the posts that from July there is no more D visa but a different kind of visa that takes 2 weeks??? Are you  aware?

Wish you God speed.

Yes, you can apply for D visa aka "entry visa"  when you have pending visa like family reunification. But the question is the percentage of approval.

You can't apply for tourist visa aka " schengen visa".
