hi,
my hubby is on work visa in SA & I am on spouse visa as dependent.
i want to invite my parents to visit SA for a month.will they need any documents from us & what are the other documents they may need?
thanks

Silvana_Arocha

I brought my parents last year for my wedding, they basically need:

    Form BI-84.
    Marriage certificate if married.
    Birth certificate for children.
    Yellow Fever Vaccination Certificate.
    Proof of funds i.e. Payslip or bank statement.
    Proof of accommodation in South Africa.
    Pay a fee for the application

Besides that an invitation letter for when they apply, in the letter specify who is going to take care of expenses while they are here, if it's you then add your bank statements for the last 3 months, and for the proof of accomodation, just say there if they will stay with you, if not, you'll have to book a hotel and attach the confirmation for that.

Hope that helps!
