Where are the indie/alternative/underground/metal people are at?

scareglow

Hello!

I've been living here for 3 1/2 months now and I only saw like 1 or 2 people that could be considered "alternative".
Maybe I'm looking at the wrong place.
Is there a particular area where "the cool kids" go?
I don't wanna sound like an a**hole, but I'm looking for people who share the same interests.

I'm absolutely not into hanging out with drunken language students or watching local football on TV.

Any help is appreciated.

I'm absolutely not into hanging out with kinda cool kids like.
Well, like, them what cannot speak proper like.
Unless they're really alternative, like.

Seriously, Malta is a very conservative country so any alternative movement would be difficult to find, let alone be obvious.

Mind you, having stated that, Malta has come a long way since the days of 'Promenade' that I remember.

I found a Facebook site for you here:

You may find some links here:

Including Abysmal Torment - Grindcore Death Metal band.

Also, bear in mind Malta's very rich but very varied traditional heritage, which, in part explains its culture and attitudes today.
