Moving to Holland

Hi,

I've been offered a job in Holland and was told that I'll be able to get the 30% ruling benefit. With the tax advantage my net monthly average (including, holiday and personal allowance) salary will come to EUR4,500. Is this a good salary?
I'd appreciate any help/comments.

Regards

Hi,

Various sources estimate the modal net salary around in The Netherlands to 1600-1800 euro per month. A net salary of 4500 is generally considered a good one - some people would even say a very good one. But it depends on what you compare it with :).

The Dutch prime minister earns just under 10000 euro gross per month, the net would come somewhere between 6000 and 7000...

If you decide to come here, good luck!
