Hi everybody. I have got a job offer 20000 dhs/m. No other benefits have been offered yet. I have 2 kids (11 and 8 yo) + wife with no job. I know it is not sufficient for a confortable life. My question is that: Is there any opportunity to live suburbs of Abu Dhabi which may ask for less rent? Also my kids will attend 5th and 2nd grade at the school and they don't know english or arabic yet?
When I check dubizzle web, there are some renting options 55k or 70k for year and International schools for 20k per kid.
Are they real or fake advertisements?
Please reply soon. I have not much time to decide.
Thanks in advance

You can have a decent and moderately comfortable life.  Don't worry about Arabic for the children, they all pick it up very well and quick.  If need be you can engage a private tutor.  There are thousands of international children studying here and joined also midway like yours, so no worry there.
Dubizzle is a genuine website.  Abudhabi rents are sobering now, there are lots of new properties with reasonable rent.

The honest answer is 'no'. 20,000 per month is really not enough for four of you. Abu Dhabi doesn't really have suburbs and it is extremely expensive to rent if your company is not paying for it. I think that you would really struggle to send your kids to school, rent a home and try to eat at the same time!

If your children have neither Arabic nor English they will suffer which no parent would want. Schools don't cater for non-English speaking children at all.

It'll be tight, with school fees. Unless you commute from a cheaper rental area.
