New to Dubai have a question about my job offer

Post new topic

HeatNation

Im currently living in the US and considering a job as a food and beverage management in Training position at a hotel in Palm island. shared housing is included, 3 meals a day, transportation to and from work, free ticket back home and $1000 a month. the HR person also mentioned something about a service pay which could vary from 400 to 700 AED a month.

can someone tell me if this sounds like a legitimate and good enough offer to live comfortably in Dubai for about 12 to 18 months ? Thank you !

Without the name of the organization, it is difficult to say whether the offer is 'legitimate'.  $1000 per month will meet your expenses, when transport to work, boarding and lodging has been taken care of. Zero savings. However after living in the US, you will find the sharing accommodation life a bit challenging.
