We would appreciate general information about moving to Patzcuaro, Mexico from Seattle, Washington. We have pets and will need a car there so need to investigate ways of transporting the pets and purchasing an auto. We are looking for a 3 month rental initially.

hi quaz77 - we plan to do similar, except in san miguel.... we found a great blog for that area on yahoo - very informative, active, and current. maybe you could find similar; if not, there's still much info out there. check internationalliving.com/countries/mexico/retire/ also, even though we're focusing on different areas, much of the same info would likely apply so if you want to trade data, let me know - we aim to visit in june, retire in mid-2014 and do a 3-month stay, then aim for a permanent move after that. thanks - abigail o'
