I was told that I had to have around $480 in credit card for them to hold till I came back to the USA .....is there a way to get around that ...if I plan on moving to Mexico permanently

The only way to avoid the deposit is to sell your moto in the US and buy one in Mexico. Fm3/2 type visas permit you to have a foreign vehicle but with the same deposit requirement. Residents, "inmigrado", can not own a foreign plated vehicle. Registering the moto in Mexico is very expensive and complicated.

Ok...I have my tourist passport, just need Motorcycle Insurance, and Sticker....That should do it to get me into Mexico? if there any other form of paperwork please let me know...just don't want any delays
