Hey :-)

I'm new to this, moving out to Bahrain on 24th August from Glasgow and really looking forward to it.

Any tips etc would be appreciated. Would also be great to here from people who have been in similar situations or about to be. Meet new people.

:-)

Hello K13r, let me take this opportunity to give you an early welcome to Bahrain :)
I hope you will enjoy your time here. As an expat myself who's been living in Bahrain for about four years, all I can say is this place is absolutely lovely. The people here are very kind and helpful. English is spoken well by the majority of locals so there won't be a big language barrier either.

Bahrain is really hot in the summer so make sure you get your sunscreen, sunglasses, and swimsuits with you! :)
It is also occasionally subjected to sandstorms so bring your inhaler or allergy meds if you need any.

If you need any help at all please don't hesitate to ask-  I am sure a lot of the nice members on this forum will be willing to help you, including myself. :)

Have a safe journey!!

Peace and blessings xo
