where i can get a parental affidavit because my fiance and i are planning to get married but im 25 years old.it's says here in UAE that i have t submit parental affidavit. any idea where i can get? im confuse some says that it's written letter of your parents but some says they will give a form ... pls help me

My g/f and I are in the same situation.. You only need to provide a marriage certificate, so, I would advise you just get married on paper..

As long as it's authenticated, you won't have any issues..

Hi, is anyone here just got married? Me and my fiance are also getting married very soon. We are both expats, he is american and i am not, he's on visit and i am having residency here. Please advise.

Who or where do you intend to have marry you?    If you are considering having a church do it then  I suggest St Andrews - they have it down pat - have all the forms and lead you through it.  I got married here and never heard of this parential thing.   If you are Islamic maybe that is a requirement - but if not I don't think you need it.   

I consulted an attorney who is a marriage specialist here to be sure I had all my stuff in order - he didnt charge me much.
