Housing - Salmiya vs. Salwa vs. Other

Hi,

I am looking to rent a 2-bedroom furnished apartment.

Since it's my first time to Kuwait, I would appreciate guidance on which area is good to live in from the following perspectives:

1. Close to a good nursery for 3 yr old kid
2. Close to amenities like grocery shopping etc.
3. Good area to live in
4. Maximum 350 KWD per month, but would prefer to pay 250-300 KWD per month
5. Distance to work is not a major concern as I will drive to work and since Kuwait is not a huge place, it should be easy enough to commute (I am guessing but pls. advice if this is something to consider as well)

I have heard Salmiya and Salwa are good but have no idea about these or other areas

Many thanks for your guidane

shan

Hi Shan,
Both place are great, but I like Salwa more than Salmiya. Nurseries and groceries(Co-op & Sultan Center), even restaurants are near to each other, beside Salwa is not that crowded. :)
