Good luck in your job search!

May I ask: How wel do you speak / understand German? That is the single most important factor your chances to get hired depend on - even if you are in a hyped field like e-mobility and have skills that the German workforce lacks, you would still need to communicate with German bosses, colleagues, partners and customers!

Hi

Thank you so much for your reply, Yes I understand that the German language proficiency is very important, My communication level is above intermediate and I have B1 Telc certificate but I have taken the course till B2, more than certificates, I have good confident that I can communicate and understand well. If you have any opportunities kindly let me know.

thanks

I would just mention that if one comes on a study visa, they can only work up to 120 days full-time (up to 8 hours) per year or 240 days half-time (up to 4 hours) or an equal combination of the 2. Trying to simply work full-time or over the limits has serious consequences, like getting deported and banned.

And the kinds of part-time jobs available are usually not very well paid. One might have a marketable skill but find that no part-time positions for such a thing exist. Mentioning one's situation here as an introduction is fine but don't expect that this leads to people contacting you to offer work. This site is not an employment agent of any kind.

Hi Mr. Tomin

Thanks for your reply, I know that this is not an employment portal. I  mentioned  that in my introduction for just to get a guidance from others as an expat. Also, I am very well aware about students working regulations of Germany. Already, I am doctorate in Mechanical Engineering, unfortunately finding difficult to match my previous experiences and the language  to get hired here, that motivated me to do another masters degree. Also, I am not here in student visa, instead I am  in family dependent visa, that doesn't stop me to work or study. If I get an opportunity I will push my studies in part time and continue my job.

Thanks for your guidance

regards

Renjith
