Dear members of the Spain forum, I hope you’re doing well.

Our editorial team is hard at work and we’re looking to update and review our Spain guide before the end of the year. We would like to better cater to your needs and as such, are asking YOU what you would like to see included in our next update.

Are there any specifics about Spain that we overlooked in the current guide?

Is there something you wish you knew before moving to Spain that you could not find in Spain guide?

If you are looking to move to Spain, is there any information that you would need that you don’t see included in the current guide?

The team is looking forward to hearing from you.

Have a great day !

Hello,

It would be extremely useful to learn about how to organise a move to Spain when one has a disability or chronic illness. For example: What are our rights, what are the procedures to have one's disability or chronic illness recognised in Spain, which organisations can we turn to for help (whether it be household help or financial aids), how can we obtain our necessary medications and/or physical therapy for those who need them, how are people with disabilities accepted by the general population, etcetera.

Thank you very much in the name of all the disabled and chronically ill people and their loved ones who would love to move to Spain but just don't know where to start, and in the name of those who do not currently have a disability or chronic illness but who would like to know what to do if this happens to them while they are foreign residents in Spain and moving back is not an option.

Kind regards,

Anne-Lise Mty

Hello rangfar,

Thank you for your answer. We're adding a new article to all our guides called diversity and inclusion in which we aim to be answer questions regarding how inclusive different destinations are. Thank you for your reply. We'll advertise the guide very soon.

Thank you!
