Hi all,

There are different informations in web, what is the easiest way to apply blue card, I don't have D visa yet and I don't want to wait to get D visa for applying blue card. Can I apply without residency?

I have only job contract and Tax id. Accomodate in hotel with multi entrance Bulgarian C type visa.

Whole your terms are perplexed.

The procedure of residence permit include Visa D in the beginning. But people from non-EU countries can apply for it if they meet some requirements.

Single residence and work permit and Blue card permit are two different types, but it depends of your employer.

You said that you have work contract. It is strange to me, because if you have already, this means that your employer have started your procedure and you have already this permit from The Labour Agency. If not, it is not a work contract, may be something else.

Please clarify.

Congratulations on your job offer!

Blue Card is an EU initiative for "highly skilled" workers earning a high salary (I'm not sure what the 2023 requirement is, it was only 11k euros, the lowest in the EU). It's a good option as it gives you some EU-wide mobility (later) allowing you to relocate to a higher wage country.

I believe your employer should be the one seeking your Blue Card. And I think you still need your D visa (employment) issued (at your local Bulgarian Embassy), once your work permit / Blue Card has been approved. Unless your employer asked you to come here already, you might be jumping the gun a bit.
