Fingerprints in Sofia acceptable for FBI criminal background check

Can anyone in here recommend a way to get digital fingerprints acceptable for use for the FBI criminal background check in Sofia? I need it for my VISA-D for Bulgaria.

However, I assume the Research Institute of Forensic Science and Criminology (RIFSC) will still do the fingerprints?

Any help would be appreciated.

We went back to the US at aUPS store. Here you can print out the form from the FBI web site and do it yourself. Just be sure to roll the finger from left to right without lifting the finger after placing in the ink . Do 2 sets to be safe. I heard you can get it done at the university, but I was not able to find out when and where.

Hi, I do not know if you are aware that you need to apply in the USA for D visa. Not in Bulgaria.

@TonyFF parts of it can be completed while in Bulgaria. Passport handover and FBI check must be done in USA. Thanks though.
