That's been my experience too. Whatsapp took a little bit to figure out, but it's used almost exclusively in Mexico. It's worth it to become involved. Read More

Gullible, you’re good. Tourists and temporary residents can drive cars with American license plates to and from the USA into Mexico and back as they please if they have the required insurance, TIP, etc. Only permanent residents are prohibited. ... Read More
