Company Overview :

Selong Selo Group is the parent for several companies dedicated to the development of tourism oriented projects in South Lombok. More specifically in the area surrounding Selong Belanak Beach, with over 40 full-time staff both in Selong Belanak and overseas, it has extensive experience across all business lines to ensure it delivers a quality and transparent product. The groups core businesses are funds management, resort development and resort management.

Position Overiew :

The Training Manager, based in Lombok, will plan, organize, monitor, coordinate and conduct all learning & development activities. This will include formulation and implementation of the annual total learning plan, perform training evaluation to maximize return on investment, ensure conformity with training objectives, and help drive a holistic orientation and on-boarding programme. The Training Manager will also participate in and drive the review of L&D policies, processes and procedures, and ensure that effective training is in place to enable the achievement of desired business results.

Key Responsibilities:

Strengthen and build the the The Selo Group corporate identity and culture that is consistent with that of The Selo Groups Vision, Mission and Core Values.
Be the custodian of the The Selo Group corporate statements such as the The Selo Group Vision, Mission and Core Values and where necessary, provide advice to stakeholders on appropriate use of these corporate statements.
Develop and drive activities and programs that contribute to strengthening of the The Selo Group Identity and inculcating of a culture that is consistent with the The Selo Group Core Values. This includes all programs conducted as part of staffs induction process (eg Welcome/ Orientation Briefing, The Selo Group Onboarding Pack/Checklist, Employee Handbook and New Joiners Guide).
Develop and conduct service delivery programs that are aligned to the attributes of The Selo Group for all front-liner staffs.


2. Develop employees and build capabilities for the company. This includes:
Develop and be the custodian of The Selo Group Training Framework, a framework that guides the training and development of The Selo Group staff, and executed as part of the staffs career development plan.
Conduct the annual Training Needs Analysis (TNA).
Derive and execute The Selo Group Annual Total Learning Plan.
Project, and manage the annual Training budget for The Selo Group.
Oversee/ Manage the administration of any local training claims to ensure maximum leverage on training grants available.
Develop and manage the learning management system/learning portal and to ensure the smooth use of the system/portal for the delivery of company-required programs.
Constantly review and update existing training SOPs relating to Training Application and Training Evaluation in order to ensure continued relevance of learning interventions to business needs.
Be the custodian of The Selo Group Training Application and The Selo Group Training Evaluation SOPs

3. Manage talent as part of efforts to attract, retain and motivate employees. The responsibilities cover the following:
Develop and be the custodian of The Selo Group Talent Management Framework, a framework that guides the development and/ or implementation of initiatives/ program to manage talent in The Selo Group.
Drive and implement programs to develop leaders of The Selo Group to contribute to business success. These programs may be internally-developed or externally sourced.
Work in close partnership with Department Heads to identify, develop, engage and retain talent.
Oversee and be responsible to put in place a system for succession planning for key positions.

Skills
Strong written and oral English required, with good understanding of the local languages, especially Bahasa Indonesia.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Powerpoint.
Excellent interpersonal skills and can easily build rapport with others.
Ability to work with various work cultures.
Ability to provide clear and detailed direction to junior staff members and develop capabilities by providing relevant and constructive feedback on their performance.
Positive, enthusiastic and resilient.

Diplomas
Bachelor Degree, preferably in fields such as Human Resources, Instructional Designs, Adult Education, or Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
At least 2-3 years of managerial work experience in Human Resource Management and/ or Learning & Development Management, preferably in the hospitality industry, ideally in a branded resort of similar capacity
Familiarity with traditional and modern training methods (OJT, e-learning)
Working knowledge of multiple learning & development disciplines, including organizational diagnosis, organization & strategy development, workforce culture development, diversity management, skills & competencies development and workforce planning management is strongly preferred.
Possession of Train-The-Trainer certification or equivalent would be an advantage.
