I have used my laptop(s) on trips to Colombia and

in particular Medellin, with VPN enabled .. or

turned off.

The Paisa capital is set up to accommodate

digital nomads, so if your particular VPN is not

producing the result you want, you should be able

to find assistance to log on and do your work.

I concur. Colombia has not implemented "The Great Firewall" for purposes of internet censorship. Therefore, you should have no problem doing virtual calling or other internet based activities, apropos for selling insurance. Of course it is worth mentioning, that to acquire cabled internet service under your own name, you would require a cedula.
