I am 77 and retired  and elected to move to Popayan because my girlfriend who is a citizen is most recently from there. I am a US citizen and am proficient in Spanish; very helpful!

Hey Mike! Hope you're liking Cali. Since you moved in 2025 you’ve probably been here over a year now. How's the city treating you?

Cali is great and cheap, but the paperwork here is always a headache, especially after your first year with visas and stuff.
