Too steep for a price paid for residential broadband.  I was paying over R$ 100 per month for Vivo Fiber. 

This Satellite Service  only justifies if you need to run mission critical and you lack either...

1.Multihomed fiber at your doorstep

2.Lack a wirelss last mile.

3.No choices for dark fiber at your curbside.

Or that you need some backhaul link as insurance.

Or you are confined to a Rural area with a substandard ISP with no decent SLA. 

Folks, there is a price to pay when you go off the grid.  You forsake quality health care, essential health care, and infra structure you take for granted. 

It ain't like America, where short of some Native Reservations, you at least get an incumbent RUS Telco to provide you with all the essentials. The Cap money doled out there, gets to Telcos on an  annualized basis.  Here' there is a collection of such fee ( FUST), but the money gets squandered before it gets to your ISP. 

All of that stuff on living by the beach side, pecking your laptop, drinking pina coladas, not feasible here. You must be either in a large metro or a second or third tier city.
