Wish I had found Expat.com sooner! Mar del Plata?

Greetings all,

Last year I lived almost 8 months in Argentina, almost all of that in Mar del Plata. During that time I only heard English spoken in the street twice! The second time was just before I left Argentina, and the person told me that, contrary to anything I had been able to find out, there was in fact an Expat community in Mar del Plata, and they met up every week or so someplace I had never heard of....

Can anyone here tell me where that might have been? I'm probably going to another country for a few months first, but since mi Sra. es Argentina, there is a strong likelihood of ending up back down there.

Thanks, Osage. Figures, everyone wants to do things on the platform I will NEVER log onto. If anyone wants to buy my personal, private info they can make me an offer, not pay Zuckburger for it.

Since this platform (and for example, "International Living.com") offer the service it is a shame people chose not to utilize them....
