HAPPY PRESIDENTS DAY

mugtech

Today we celebrate all the USA presidents, every third Monday in February.  Lincoln's birthday, on 2/12, and Washington's birthday, on 2/22, used to be celebrated as two holidays.  In keeping with the trend to Mondays as holidays, it was decided to honor all presidents on one day, especially since neither Washington nor Lincoln were Democrats.  So don't look for snail mail or go to the bank today.

Funny living in the islands now for the last 8 years I have lost all sense of time/month/year/holidays...  I did not know it was president's day until I went to check the stock market at the end of the day and realized it has Friday's numbers posted.  So happy belated president's day!
