Hi everyone! Thanks for the welcome. I’m new here and still in the planning/research phase, gathering information and learning from others’ experiences before making any big moves. Looking forward to reading, sharing, and getting to know the community.😀

Hi everyone,

My name is wilo and I recently joined the USA forum. I’m excited to connect with people here, learn from your experiences, and share mine as well.

I’m currently based in Irving, Texas, where I help manage a local locksmith service. Living and working here has taught me a lot about the community, daily life, and the challenges people face when settling in a new place — especially when it comes to home and car security.

If anyone is new to the area or planning to move to Irving/Dallas, I’d be happy to share tips about neighborhoods, services, and general life here. Looking forward to meeting new people and being part of this community.

Hi all,

My name is Kenneth Otuo Adarkwah and I’m joining from Ghana.

My expat project is to connect skilled professionals with companies in the USA, Canada, Sweden, and other countries that are open to hiring international talent and offering visa sponsorship.

I work with a network of qualified candidates in both skilled trades and professional roles.

Skilled Trades: Construction, Welding, Carpentry, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Manufacturing, Warehousing, Logistics, Rope Access, Agriculture

Professional/Tech: IT, Engineering, Healthcare, Customer Service, Hospitality

I’m here to learn from this community, network with employers and HR professionals, and also support others who are on their own expat journey.

Looking forward to connecting with you all and contributing where I can.

Warm regards,

Kenneth

Hi Peter,

Thanks for sharing this opportunity.

I’m a Talent Connector based in Ghana and I also have experience with basic computer assistance, online support, data checking, and technical tasks.

I’m very interested in long-term partnerships.

Can you please share a bit more details:

1.  What type of software/business is this for?

2.  What’s the estimated hours per week and monthly rate?

3.  What tools will we be using?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Kenneth

Hi Wilo,

Welcome to the forum and thanks for sharing this 🙌

I’m Kenneth, based in Accra, Ghana. I work with skilled professionals looking to relocate to the USA, Canada, and Sweden.

It’s great to have someone local in Irving/Dallas sharing real tips about neighborhoods and security. That info is gold for people moving there.

I’d love to connect. I’m sure members moving to Texas would really appreciate your advice on locksmith services and staying safe in a new home.

Looking forward to learning from you!

I love that you teach Spanish and do photography + horse riding. That’s such a beautiful combo!

How are you finding life in Florida?

Would love to connect!
