sheikh Khalifa specialist hospital

Hi Romanway and welcome to expat-blog,
As far as I know there is no recruitment ongoing for this hospital for the moment. The management group has gone out to tender again and as long as the management has not been designated, recruitment cannot go on but I don't have a timeline for this unfortunately.

Thanks FeeAcer, I figured that would be the case but was hopeful non the less!  I'm guessing I'll just have to wait it out!

To what I have heard this morning, the recruitment process might start again in around 3 months time.

As said previously the recruitment process should start in a couple of months.

So maybe you should check in a month or two on Google if you find a website for Sheikh Khalifa Hospital in RAK.

There are other Sheikh Khalifa hospitals in UAE though which might recruit... here again Google will be your friend.

Sheikh Khalifa Hospital yet to open..right?, Al Nakheel Hospital and Abdullah Rashid Omran Hospitals are already opened?

@ Chittu, sorry only see your message today. Al Nakheel hospital seems to be in Sharjah and they have a tab "Careers" on their website. As for Abdullah Rashid Omran Hospitals, I am still waiting for more info (only found a couple of articles regarding the construction).

@ Hainas, I confirm what has been said previously, meaning that the new Sheikh Khalifa specialist hospital in RAK is not open yet. The project has been put on hold at present. Hoping to open june next year.

I am a specialist A (by MOH, UAE  evaluation) in General Surgery, working in Dibba Fujairah Hospital for the last 7 years. I have a total experience in General Surgery for 22 years. I am looking forward for seeking a post in General Surgery in Sheikh Khalifa Specialist Hospital, Rasal Khaima. If somebody know the recruiting process to this institution, it will be great help for me as well as others  and it will be appreciated with gratitude.

As mentioned previously in this conversation recruiting is not yet started for this hospital! and from what I heard yesterday might not even start before the end of the year.
Maybe you should try in other of the numerous hospitals in the region?

I heard they were accepting cvs at Arab Health, Dubai. but I couldn't go there unfortunately
still waiting for their website or any headhunters to post for jobs at this hospitals.

Dear Hibbz,
Answer to your question has been given by me in previous comments in this topic. Very much doubt there will be any further news for a couple of months. However, there are several other Sheikh Khalifa hospitals in the other Emirates where you could apply for a job.

There are however other Sheikh Khalifa Hospitals in UAE. I'd suggest you look them up on internet and try your luck there

Hi there. I am Sam RN (MOH) and last April of last year I have been offered a Nursing job by Sheikh khalifa specialist hospital- RAK, I am done with the interviews and submission of required documents. I was supposed to start working on May 23, 2013 but unfortunately the opening of the hospital has been put on hold.

I would like to know the status of the hospital, opening dates (or atleast expected dates), AND if I am still included on their list of employees. THANK YOU VERY MUCH for any response.

Hello Sam and congratulations if you have been retained for employement at the hospital. Unfortunately nobody of the hospital management is a member here as far as I know.
I suppose that - if you went through the whole process of recruitment - you have contact details to somebody there. I'd suggest you to write/phone them for more info.
However - if you have read all the messages here - you will know that they have issued a new tender for the management of the hospital which has not yet been approved.

An hour ago, I just had a phone conversation with one from the HR. And sadly he advised me to reapply because there will be a new management. Oww it really is such a disappoinment.. after all the things i have sacrificed, job, visa, earnings, just to work in this hospital. how i wish the old management could have just endorsed us, the hired ones, to the new management. I hope anyone from the new management could read this thread.

The guy whom ive talked with didn't give me substantial info because- well, maybe it's friday over there and he just didn't feel entertaining such queries during non-working days- he himself has no idea when exactly the hospital is opening. He just told me to reapply in 4-5 months from now. To where and how, he also doesn't know.

Maybe you could just send your CV in the hospital like what I did before. And when you do that, maybe you could give mine too hehe please..  Good luck too on your career jay_nurse!

By the way jay_nurse are you currently employed? If there are hospitals hiring MOH licensed nurses, can you please notify me. I am desperately in need of a job. And is it true that starting in May MOH licenses can already be used in Dubai and Abu Dahbi?

My wife is a HAAD Licensed Dietitian and currently employed in Burjeel Hospital here in Abu Dhabi, she wanted to apply on SKSH too.. We hope news on recruitment will come soon.
