You have to have a bit of both really. Depending on the situation, you have to take a stand on things. Sometimes the right thing is not what you need.

Both...First I'm worried about doing the right things, then doing them right, however in some cases quality is not an issue comparing to do the thing or not, in such cases all that matters is to do the right thing.
