Finally made it to Riyadh

MaserMan

Well after the months of form filling, medicals, waiting, visas and finally Ramadan and Eid to add to the wait, flew into Riyadh yesterday.

Immigration/security was a breeze, after reading all the hype about laptops and external HD's being checked was worried that something would be found that was not meeting the standard or I would end up with a corrupted drive.

So sat by the pool and read yesterday and will do the same today before reporting for work tomorrow.

As you can see from the time I am typing this, sleep is not coming readily :D

Hey Maserman,

Good that you have 2 days to get adjusted to the time change.

I've calculated that from the States it takes 5 days to get over the lag if you have come back and start work the next day (which is something we all do since we don't want to spend our precious leave time coming back early--I'd rather be lagged on company time lol).

MaserMan

I flew from the UK so not as bad as the states.

At the moment I am the opposite in that I crave some sun.

Sun comes free, 24X7, with the Contract, here
