Present Situation for dependents in Saudi Arabia to do jobs..

As a dependent you can (edited to add: NOT) not legally work. Not that it stops some people obtaining employment, but it is not legal.

Yes, you are right. I misplaced my "not". My mind is not the best: currently having a miscarriage and thought I could distract myself for a bit. Obviosuly I am too distracted and need to go to bed!

An iqama for MAHRAM is not allowed to work at all and no company will be able to hire you legally. You cannot change profession, transfer or do anything legally under this type of iqama. Only option is to find a job, check if that sponsor has a visa and then come back on that visa under the new sponsor.
