Wishing you all the best!

You need the following:
1. Your current IQAMA and all paperwork relating to your initial job offer and all the paperwork that was submitted to the local Chamber of Commerce.
2. You need your new job offer and all the paperwork CLEARLY stataing that your are employed as a Mechanical Engineer.
3. Sign and noterize all these documents in triplicate
4. Go to the clinic and get your new IQAMA tests done.
5. Submit all paperwork and test results to the Chamber of Commerce.
Preferably, you want to have your company's HR department handle all of this - as on your own, it could take up to 3 months to process...
Best of Luck to you.
So, a careful selection of profession is required that must work a long way.
I wish it could be that straight-forward:For an engineering profession visa, you need to have a valid engineering degree from an accredited university. Because this will need registration with Saudi Engineering Council.
Try to take a profession with the word 'manager' in it but not prone to saudization.
and there are many people in saudia those are working on engineering visa without engineering degree so how they are survived there ?

you need the proper engineering degrees for that visa plus you will have to sit the test I believe at the Saudi Engineering Council.
Forget those who have already survived here. They will survive no matter what.
I suppose a marketing supervisor or executive could be your profession of choice

You will get only technician category with diploma and computer technician is a good profession. Try for that and good luck.

Walaikum salaam
If your profession in iqama is heavy truck driver, chances are limited for you to change. Still try after getting all your certificates attested from Saudi Embassy in your country and before change of profession, register with SEC.

Get an attested degree certificate and ask your company PR / Mandoob to do it or apporach any agency outside. There is also a fees of SAR.1000/- that needs to be paid to Jawazat under your iqama number.
I was born and brought up here in Jeddah.
And i am still under my father's sponsorship (Student Iqama).
Now i have completed my graduation (Bachelor of Business Administration) in 2012 and I am presently employed in a reputed medical company .
Currently i cannot renew my Iqama as a student because i am no more a student.
I am planning to transfer my iqama to the company which i am working now but my original certificates has not yet issued.
Now i am planning to transfer my iqama as "Aaamil aayidi" (normal labour). Will it be possible to change my profession in future after getting my original certificates ??

Yes, you will be able to change the profession back to a related one to your bachelors at a later stage.
In order to transfer now you need to take your dad and the demand letter from the company to Jawazat offices in person and get the form for release of dependent and stamped from them . This will be your release, for ease of transfer your employer can use "Sales Representative " as of now with mark sheets, rather than to labor.

You could look for Operations Manager title but with a diploma, the chances of getting a manager title profession in iqama is very slim. In any case you need the certificate to be attested from the saudi embassy from where its been issued.

Thank you for your suggestion, What are the other positions that are easy for a Diploma? I don't really need a Manager title, I can even go for Supervisor.

Depends on company business, what diploma you are holding etc.
