Await e visa status of my daughter's visa application

Hi, My employer applied visa for my daughter's dependent visa 2 weeks before but still the status shows await evisa for more than 1 week. Does dependent visa will get this much delay, i have seen some other dependent visa cases they used to get with in a day or two from the date of application.
Any reason behind the delay. FYI my daughter visa applied with her renewed passport and there is an offence in the CR while the day status shown as await evisa. Offence cleared 1 week before but the await evisa status not yet cleared.
