Bahrain to Saudi Arabia Medical Report for Work Visa

Hi everyone,

I have some question hope someone could able to help me..
Im currently processing a Work Visa requirements in VFS Tasheel International from Bahrain to Saudi Arabia.
Some requirements can be done fair enough but you know you need to spend some money for processing.
I was advised to have a medical Report from Saudi Mission Approved Medical Center in Bahrain and VFS Tasheel informed me to have the option of IBN Nafees Hospital & government hospital in bahrain only.

I enquire at IBN Nafees, it's quite expensive for a medical report but i know it will be my last resort for making the medical exam.

My question was about the Government Hospital:
Can i booked myself directly to salmaniya for medical checkup for work Visa requirement for Saudia or they will refer me to the health center associated to my address?

It was noted online that Government hospital in Bahrain is:

King hamad University Hospital
BDF Hospital
Salmaniya Hospital

I'm thinking that it will be the same as a pre-employment in Al Razi Health Center which would be benefit me for cheaper amount.

Do you have any thoughts about getting a medical check up and a medical report in a government hospital? Im referring to salmaniya.
if you could suggest I'm open for it so that I can think about it too..

Thank you very much!

I got mine done from Ibn Nafees.  It costs around 105 BD I think. However, keep in mind that they give you a proper report with 8-9 pages, duly stamped and in right format along with a copy of the X-ray film.  I somehow doubt you will get the same quality from Salmaniya and while it would be cheaper than IBN, don't expect it to be the same as a pre-employment from Al-Razi as these are two different medicals for two different governments.  The Bahrain medical is a special rate as agreed with the government.  The Saudi one is a different private service.

Suggest to physically go to Salmaniya and check.  BDF for private patients is almost as expensive as IBN and King Hamad is not far behind.

Good Day Sir, I am about to process my Work Visa to Khobar KSA. Kindly advice the following:

10. Copy of Educational Certificates should be attested from MOFA of the issuing country, KSA Embassy in that country and Ministry of Foreign Affairs Bahrain. Where to go and how much it cost?

12. Original & Photocopy of employment contract signed by the applicant and the employer, attested by MOFA and COC, Saudi Arabia.  Where to go and how much it cost?

13. Electronic authorization (WAKKALA) from the employer to the canter. Where to get this?

14. Police Clearance Certificate from Bahrain and attested by MOFA. Can I go to any Police Station here? How much it cost?

10) Depends on your country. Find out the process for attestation there

12) Your employer needs to do it. You can't do anything yourself

13) Your employer needs to do it. You can't do anything yourself

14) Look at the thread in the forum for police clearance or go to Bahrain.bh and try applying online... The process is detailed there

The original poster hasn't been online in a year.

Greatly appreciated for your prompt response!

@XTang  hi. I'd like to know if you are still able to travel in and out of Bahrain - Saudi. What visa do u have in Bahrain? Flexi? While working in Saudi

Why would you assume that I have a flexi-visa?

I have an Iqama in Saudi and a self sponsorship 10 year property visa in Bahrain.  So yes, I am able to travel.

Tnx for clarification. But would someone with a Flexi in Bahrain able to work in Saudi if they are able to get a work visa?  Has anyone done this before?

They are different countries.  Why would there be an issue?

@XTang i need one more information i am same applying for work visa saudi from bahrain , my bahrain visa is valid for 2 and half months can i apply without extension?

Usually Saudi embassy wants it to be valid for 6 months.  But try your luck.

Is Al Hilal Hospital Manama has aproved under saudi mission? Can I take medical test form there for my Saudi employment visa.?

As far as I know, till a few years back, only Ibn Nafees was allowed by Saudi Embassy for work visa medical in Bahrain.  Check with VFS or your agent.

please how much will it cost me to get my medical examination for Saudi work visa done here in Bahrain and which medical centre please can someone guide me please

Read my comment just before yours.  Cost is between 100 to 150 BD.

Please which of the medical centers will I use please

And again what are the documents I need to present to the hospital or I can get the examination done without any paperwork from the company

Try to read what I wrote.  Then ask the person who is doing your visa with VFS for the latest list of medical centers.   Book an appointment and they will tell you what to bring.  Usually passport.

Hi XTang, I have a contract as an ESL teacher in Riyadh and due to fly out next week. The employer has given me a tourist visit visa and said they will convert it to a work permit when I am there. Don't I need attested degree and CELTA certificates to bring with me in that case? Also, I think I would need a police certificate from the UK. I don't have either of these things and the employer has not stated I should get them. I think they are just going to put me on a business visa and not an Iqama. WHat are the consequences of working on a business visa or tourist visa?

You will need attested degrees.   And they cannot convert a tourist visa to a work permit.  You have to leave the Kingdom (if you are on a tourist visa) and then enter on a work permit.  The consequences of working on either of those visas, if labor inspectors catch you, is fine/deportation and blacklist.

Much the same as in Vietnam.
