Visit Visa transfer to work Visa

Hi, I have a query


I came on a visit visa and the visa is due to expire on 17th of this month. Meanwhile i found and job and the employer has applied for work visa. The status on LMRA is showing as "Employment Visa in progress".


I want to know will the visit visa expiry apply now? and i have to exit if the work visa is not approved before 17th? if i don't exit will the sponsor of the visit visa get any fine?

Just wait.  As long as application is in progress, no issue.

@XTang Thanks for the response. I was just curious as the sponsor of the Visit visa is telling me to exit if the status is still in progress by 17th.
