Living in the Netherlands with Malta work visa/Residency permit

Hestia Bekker

Hi,

The company I work for started an office in Malta (registered the company there) and I need to immigrate. But my work requires me to travel. Can I live in The Netherlands and spend the required days to maintain my visa in Malta?

Will it be possible for me to rent/buy a place in the Netherlands with that visa/residency permit?

Thank you

Hi- thanks for your questions. To my knowledge, if you aren't an EU citizen, having a work visa for one EU country doesn't give you the right to live/work in another EU country. Thanks.

As Josh has said, If you are not an EU citizen, then you have to apply for a work visa in each country you wish to work in. The Embassy will be able to inform you.
