moving to the Netherlands as a retired

Goodmorning,

I'm an italian semi-retired teacher and my great will is to move in the next years to Maastricht, that I learnt to love during my daughter's university years.

I would like to meet someone who has already done it and kindly ask to someone the best suggestion to understand how could do it.

Hi,


I am American, and I came to The Netherlands for a job 23 years ago and stayed. I went into early retirement a few years ago, so I am here for good. :)


If you have an Italian passport, then you are a member of the EU and are free to move here without any conditions - whereas, as an American, I had to have a company sponsor me and go through the immigration hassles.
