Living in Kehl & bringing kids in Strasbourg's school

Hi all,

I am Julien, half french half spanish, I live with my german partner in Kehl, and we have two kids. They currently go to a "kindergarten" in Kehl, but I have registered my son to go to a school in Strasbourg from September onwards. The other option which is still possible would be to send him to the Faklenhausschule in Kehl, which I also really like.

We are a bit worried about the commute time in the morning to bring my son to Strasbourg. Without traffic, we are talking about 15mn by car / 25mn by e-bike. But given controls on the border, and weather conditions, we foresee quite some issues.

Does anyone have experience with this already? Is there maybe a group of parents commuting on a daily basis with whom we could share rides?

Any feedback woudl be appreciated

I hope you will be able to connect with other parents who are doing the same daily commute, so you can exchange experiences and maybe even share rides. That would definitely make things easier.

Hopefully, some members here with similar routines will be able to share their feedback with you.
