What can you not get in UK

While the UK is known for its wide variety of products and services, there are a few things that might be harder to find compared to other countries. For example:

Peanut Butter with High Sugar Content – In the UK, peanut butter tends to be more natural and less sweetened compared to the US, where you often find peanut butter with added sugar and preservatives.

Dr. Pepper Cherry – The cherry-flavored version of Dr. Pepper isn't as readily available in UK supermarkets, even though it’s popular in the US.

Certain American Snacks and Candy – While some international supermarkets sell American products, certain iconic snacks like Pop Tarts or Reese's Peanut Butter Cups might be a bit of a challenge to find unless you're near a specialty store.

Mexican Food Staples – Authentic Mexican food ingredients, such as some types of chiles and corn tortillas, might not be as common outside major cities.

Ketchup-Flavored Chips – A beloved snack in Canada, but not very common in the UK.

The UK is diverse, but sometimes, you’ll have to get creative or order specialty items online if you're craving something from abroad!

There are definitely still quite a few Swedish products that can be difficult to find in the UK, especially if you want a specific brand rather than just a Scandinavian alternative.

Things like Kalles Kaviar, certain Swedish coffees, OLW/Estrella snacks, tube cheese, nyponsoppa, baking ingredients, crispbread, Swedish candy and some seasonal products can still be surprisingly hard to find.

Swedish Cravings

I'm a Brit who moved here from the Netherlands, so we miss a lot of Dutch stuff that is just not available in the local supermarkets in the UK; yes we could probably buy it online and pay a lot of money for the privilege, plus I'm married to a Dutch lady who would never pay that kind of money; so our solution is we stock up when we go back to visit family and friends, which we do twice a year.
